Partizan wins two more medals at the European Championship!

Judo Club Partizan has achieved exceptional success at the European Championships by winning two more medals. Bogdan Veličković and Jelena Nišavić, who represented both Partizan and the Serbian national team, won bronze medals in their categories.

Bogdan Veličković, the young talent of the Serbian Judo showed outstanding inserts during the competition spent as many as 43 minutes at Tatami. Throughout the day, he participated in six demanding matches, achieving five victories and experiencing only one defeat. His unwavering struggle for success paid off when he won the bronze for his country and Judo Club Partizan.

Bogdan’s path to the stand was not easy. In the first match, he faced an extremely strong opponent from Israel, Atlas J, but came out as a winner. He continued his number of victories by defeating Glig D from Romania in the second round. Although he experienced a defeat in the quarterfinal of Tavollet L from Italy, Bogdan showed incredible resistance and fought in repasses matches. He realized victory over Dikajev from Estonia in the first repayment match, and in the second Repassia, Yazgan Y from Turkey was beaten. In the end, in a bronze match, Bogdan triumphed against competitors Marczak D from Great Britain, deserving his place on the winning stand.

Jelena Nišavić, also an exceptional judician representing Partizan and Serbia showed its huge talent and determination. With four victories and one defeat, she won a bronze medal.

Jelena’s journey began with the unfortunate defeat of Marculin N from Croatia in the first round. However, she did not be discouraged, but continued to fight in repairs matches, showing their unpopular spirit. She achieved a convincing victory over Van der Maas K from the Netherlands in the first repayage. In the second Repass, it triumphed over Pagliaro M from Italy. Continuing a series of victories, Jelena defeated Noerskov M from Denmark in the third match of Repassage. In the bronze match, the glubiak m won from Poland, providing his place on the stand next to his teammate Bogdan Veličković.

The outstanding performance of Bogdan and Jelena reflect their commitment, committed labor and exceptional training they received at the Judo Club Partizan. These medals not only contribute to the rich history of partisan’s success, but also emphasize the talent and potential of the Serbian Judo.
