History of Partizan Judo Club
The club was founded on August 15, 1953. within the Weightlifting Club. In 1957. there was a merger with Crvena Zvezda, and the club under its current name was established in 1961. The first president of the Partizan Judo Club was Marcus Danon.
Judo club Partizan won its first title of team champion in 1963. The same success was repeated the following year. They reached the third title of state champion only after thirty years, that is. 1994. Partizan won the title of national champion in 2001., 2005., 2007. and 2008., as well as the national cup trophy in 2007. He achieved the greatest success in the European club competition in 1959. when he took second place in the European Cup.

Team:
Within the performance at the team championships of Serbia (Yugoslavia), the club regularly won medals (starting in 1994) in the I (SUPER) league of Serbia, and even went down in history seven times as the winner of the I league of Serbia (Yugoslavia).

Within the performance at individual championships (calculated since 1994), the competitors of our club won over 300 medals at national championships in all age categories, over 100 Balkan and over 500 medals from domestic and international tournaments. As the most important, we single out the medals from the Mediterranean, European and world championships.
